It seems that the writers for the Transformers movie have been tempted away to write Mission Impossible 3. This is irritating as it puts back even further the start date for production. On the plus side it may mean that they have time to find another director if Micheal (bad director) Bay decides he dosn't want to come onboard. Steven Spielberg has said he wants to make a great movie not an okay movie.

Also the San Diego Comic-con is this Friday. Even with all the production problems Dreamworks plans to have a red truck on the floor to promote the movie. Hasbro had stated earlier this week that they had a new Transformers prouct to unveil at the event. Since then someone has reported finding a piece of concept packaging with a shared Transformers and Star Wars logo. Is this SW characters that turn into SW vehicles or Transformers finally showing a galaxy far far away who's boss?

Speaking of kick ass toys, here are the tv show renders for Primus, the transformers god-creator who transforms from Cybertron. Any of you who have seen my Unicron figure have an idea of how big he'll be.

Wow! Primus looks cool. So does Soundwave - though why is he no longer a tape deck?
